Chestnut Hill Cemetery Revitalization
Restoring Memory Through a Woodland Park Landscape. The design honors a historically Black burial ground, sensitively thinning the overgrown woodland to reveal forgotten graves while maintaining mature canopy. Accessible paths and subtle wayfinding invite visitors through a restored forest-cemetery where cultural memory, ecological richness, and quiet reflection coexist.
Meadowview Nature Center
A Piedmont Learning Landscape for Community and Wildlife. The former Meadowview Elementary site becomes a community landscape celebrating Georgia's Piedmont flora and fauna — with an interpretive facility, nature-based play, an ethnobotanical garden, and immersive meadow and woodland plantings.
